About me.

As a child, whilst on numerous holidays in the South of France and Spain with my parents, I visited many potteries. It was particularly the rural – and Provençal – character of these places that sparked my interest and inspired me. Back then, I thought: one day, I’m going to do something with clay myself. 

Now, 25 years ago, when my youngest child started school, I began to turn these interests into reality.

I spend most of my time at the potter’s wheel. Mostly throwing vases, but also tableware. Made from clay and porcelain. Porcelain is naturally very headstrong, but so am I, so that’s a lovely – and good – match.

At the potter’s wheel, haste and time stand still. With my hands in the wet clay, I translate tranquillity, rhythm and intuition into tangible forms. Every piece that leaves my studio is unique, hand-thrown and finished with my own glazes.
